2016 was a big year for us as we moved into our new home in June and spent the rest of the year getting settled. When the holidays rolled around, I felt I was ready to showcase our Christmas home in not one, but three separate Holiday Tour Blog Hops. This either means I’m crazy or I just love decking the halls. And there you have our entire Merry & Metallic Christmas Home! Or at least the parts that were decorated. After seeing so many inspiring Holiday spaces throughout blogland this year, I feel super tempted to decorate the bedrooms next year. I mean twinkling Christmas tree lights before you fall asleep at night or one of the first things you see when you wake up in the morning?! Sounds like a dream! However, that would require a little bit more work and I’m not sure I’m ready to commit to that. I guess you’ll have to wait until next year to see if I muster up the energy or not. For now, I’m planning to take the rest of the year off from the blog, spend time with family and eat and drink to my heart’s desire!
The boys literally can’t contain their excitement for Christmas and watching their joy has to be one of the greatest parts of each day this time of the year.
