My Latest Obsessions

Hey out there!! Since I’m not quite ready to share a Laundry Room update, I thought it would be fun to pop in and share some of the things I’ve recently stumbled upon and am absolutely loving. From shoes & jeans to dish cloths & a face mask. Here are 5 things that have easily become my latest obsessions and so I, of course, want you to know about them, too! This type of post may turn into a monthly series, but I’m not sure yet. If you guys like the idea of me sharing random things I’m loving, then please let me know!!

MY LATEST OBSESSIONS

1 | MULTI-COLOR + METALLIC SANDALS

MULTI-COLOR SANDALS | TULIP ANKLE FRINGE JEANS | BLACK & WHITE RUG

I recently picked up 4…ahem…new pairs of sandals during Target’s Buy one, get one 50% off sale. I was only going to do 2 pairs, but as soon as I spotted a third must-have, I had to bite the bullet and search for a 4th.

Trust me. It was not difficult.

There are SOOO many cute new shoes out for Spring right now, so I ended up coming home with these:

• multi-color + metallic woven sandals
• white scallop sandals -[only $12.99!!]
• nude, block heels [dress up jeans or wear with a dress]
• open-toe mustard block heel mules

I found them all to be super practical for the season and my day-to-day. Um hello, flats! With the exception of the 2 block heel ones. They are heeled, but still totally wearable for someone who is so out of practice in the heel-wearing department. Stick thin stiletto heels are so fabulous, but the reality is, I just wouldn’t get much wear out of them! The multi-color & metallic sandals are so fun for Spring and Summer and I can already see them as the perfect pop of color with jeans & a white tee ensemble! They would also be cute with a colored top and white jeans or with a long maxi dress. They’ll go with so much!

The bright colors are great, but I can’t deny my love for the gold, silver and rose gold straps!

I’m either a 7.5 or an 8 and I bought a size 8 in these.

2 | ANKLE FRINGE JEANS

I popped into Nordstrom Rack to do a return last week and of course started wondering past the checkout area. Like that wouldn’t happen! But I stumbled upon a few things I’ll be sharing, but my fav find so far is this pair of tulip ankle crop fringe jeans. While I love a good distressed or busted knee pair, I wanted something that was a little less edgy, but still a little notch up from basic denim. The hem falls right to the ankle on me and I love how the raw fringe edge adds a little something. The price is way too good on these, too!

I tend to go high and low with my jeans, but for $39 you have no reason to not try these out!!

I am typically a 27, but since they didn’t have any left, I grabbed a 28 to take home to try. They fit, but will probably stretch so I say go with your normal size.

3 | GLOWIFY BRIGHTENING METALLIC MASK

I’ve never been a mask person, but when I borrowed a few my friend and Ever specialist, Amy’s products to try out while recently in Arizona, this metallic mask was instantly a favorite! She told me you’ll feel like a movie star while you’re wearing it [and after, too!] and she was right. It is rose gold and leaves your skin glowing and gorgeous after! She recommends using the metallic mask before getting ready for a night out and I totally agree.

Hello, date night! I ordered one for myself and am now officially obsessed.

4 | EUROPEAN DISH CLOTHS

Thanks to my mom for the tip on these! I introduced her to Grove Collaborative some years ago, but she recently told me about these reusable European dish cloths that she recently ordered. They can be used to wipe down your kitchen counters and then cleaned and sanitized in the dishwasher to be able to reuse. We go through a TON of paper towels and so these these are a nice way to save on costs and help the environment a little bit. I stuck them in my next Grove shipment [I usually select monthly, but sometimes move it up or back depending on what I need] and have been using them for a couple weeks now. They work great and I love not being so wasteful every time I need to wipe the counters down or the kitchen table.

5 | GOLD BASEBALL HAT

Another Target score! While I love a good sunhat for the pool or beach, I’ve never been one to sport a baseball cap. Until I spotted this gold one, of course! It was so cute and I loved the muted gold color, so decided to throw it in the cart. Pretty much like I do everything else when I’m there! I’ve worn it several times already and know that it will come in handy during Spring and Summer soccer and baseball games. Now I’m thinking I want to add another baseball hat to the Mom weekend sports uniform!! I just added this striped one to my online cart and I’m seriously eyeing this floral baseball hat and this natural woven one, too! We #boymoms still want to look cute 🙂
