Fall Target Fashion Haul Part 1

One of my most requested posts for the month of September is here! I asked and you answered! I ran a poll on IG stories to see which retailer you wanted me to do a try-on haul at [in addition to Amazon] this month and Target was the big winner! It won by a landslide. Great news – I found sooo many cute things to share with you, but the there were actually too many pieces to fit into one post! So, I split the looks into 2 groups and today I’m sharing my Fall Target Fashion Haul Part 1!

Bringing new Fall pieces into your wardrobe rotation doesn’t have to be a splurge. I highly suggest you take inventory of what pieces you currently have, love AND plan to wear this season and then build your outfits around them.

Do you need jeans?

Are your cardigans outdated?

How about some layering tanks for under jackets, sweaters and plaid shirts?

What about date night – do you have a blouse or cami you love?

Target is a great place for affordable fashion. You don’t have to feel guilty about trying some of the trends, as well as updating your staples each season.

Today, I’m sharing 9 looks made up of more than 15 Target finds you’re going to love for Fall. 

FALL TARGET FASHION HAUL

You may have seen some of these pieces during your quick Target runs [that are actually never quick because who doesn’t get distracted by the women’s section they’ve so strategically placed near the checkout counters!?]

But I also snagged some finds that are online only items. 

Let’s take a look and see what I spotted at Target.

1 || COLOR BLOCK CARDIGAN + TANK + JEANS + MULES

Oh my, this is cute! The trendy color block style is here in cardigan form with some great Fall colors. This one is a Madewell dupe as seen in the Nordstrom sale, but the Target one is just as darling and under $30! 

I normally would have bought the tan, cream and brown version #becauseneutrals, but I was drawn to the orange, gray & maroon one and love it! The colors are rich and bold and work well with so many prints! I especially love these colors with a leopard print and I happened to land on the most darling mules to wear with it.

They remind me of the Remy mules at Nordstrom, but 1/3 of the price.

You’ll be seeing the Target version quite a bit today 😉

These jeans are my new favorite. This look won’t be for everyone, but I absolutely love the high-waist, button fly, straight leg, distressing and ankle length. There is so much to them! They are only $22 and I’m in a size 4.

They can also be cuffed for a slightly different look – really cute cuffed with heels!

And I can’t stress this enough – Get this tank. Trust me, you’ll thank me later. It’s $8, but currently on sale for 2 for $14. I grabbed the black one, too – both in size small. It’s the perfect year-round layering tank. It has great length and is bra-friendly.

2 || CARDIGAN + TANK + JEANS + STRAPPY HEELS

I shared a sneak peek of the Target Haul last week in The Friday Five and this cardigan was one item I shared. How cute?! It’s a shorter length with a sweet little balloon sleeve. Its $20 and comes in several colors. Throw it over a plaid, or a layering tank for a casual or dressy look. Its definitely a versatile cardigan.

When I took inventory of my cardigans, I noted that most of mine were longer and more over-sized, so a shorter length was an ideal buy and an affordable one at only $20!

This is that same tank you saw in white above. Since they were 2 for $14, I got the white and black.

3 || PINK LEOPARD PUFF SLEEVE SWEATSHIRT + JEANS

A fun twist on a cozy sweatshirt! How fun are these puff shoulders?! The colors in this pattern are so pretty – pink, rust, black and white. It’s a very small scale leopard print, so it’s on the subtle side. I dressed this sweatshirt down with jeans and sneakers, but you could totally dress it up as well.

4 || LEOPARD PUFF SLEEVE SWEATSHIRT + JEANS + BLOCK HEELS

Same sweatshirt, different colors! Love this for a dressier, but still casual look. How nice to put on a pair of heels, but still be wearing a *sweatshirt* on top!!

5 || RUFFLE SWEATER + BLACK JEANS + MULES

This sweater is so dramatic and such a statement! It’s got gorgeous double ruffles and a balloon sleeve look. Thick, open knit and the most beautiful rich burgundy. It’s under $35 and is so fun for a night out!

These black distressed jeans are a fabulous option if you want to stretch your budget. Designer jeans can run $98-$200+. These are great if you don’t want to spend a lot on the distressed / destructed look for fear the style won’t be trendy for long.

6 || EYELET TOP + BLACK JEANS + MULES

I had to stop myself from getting this top in 3 colors! Its such a pretty one! The feminine eyelet detail on the exaggerated shoulder creates such a pretty silhouette. I grabbed the purple and black, but love the rust colored one so much, too. Throw a cardigan over top now and then wear it again come Spring and Summer.

The keyhole neck is such a cute detail, too. This top is a good one!!

7 || CAMI + BLACK JEANS

Darling $18 cami! The muted leopard print in a gray/brown tone is a great pattern to pair with black. Dress this tank up with heels and a jacket for a night out.

8 || STRIPED PUFF SHOULDER TEE + BLACK DENIM + LEOPARD BELT + BOOTIES

If you haven’t noticed, I was really digging the puff shoulder / sleeve trend this haul! That’s because they were everywhere I turned! I do have to say, this might be my top favorite shirt – If you forced me to pick! I love a stripe on anything, but the rust + black combo, fun shoulder/sleeve and t-shirt material makes this a breeze to wear.

Plus I love a twist on a classic black and white stripe 😉

So cute & comfy! $24.99 and I’m in small. It looks so cute coupled with a leopard belt for some pattern play.

9 || CROPPED WIDE LEG PANTS + MOCK NECK SLEEVELESS BLOUSE

Oh my goodness, I love these pants! Those who know me will say I’m forever a jeans girl, so I made a point to try some fun and unique pant options in this Target Haul [even more pants to share tomorrow!] to try and diversify a little.

this bodysuit was a *Target miss* but I wanted to show you what the pants look like with a fitted top. Booties are here.

I tend to stick with blue, black and white denim and an occasional skirt, so it was a nice surprise to find these wide leg cropped pants with a paperbag waist to switch things up! I think these pants are darling to dress up or down. 

A sandal, bootie, pump or even a sneaker would be fun!

*These pants were low in stock in most sizes last I checked. Since I love them so much, I tried to source you a couple of comparable options in case you love them, too. I found this pair and these for you to try. The second pair are on sale for $16 from $69.99.

This mock neck sleeveless blouse is such a pretty shade of gray and is a great dressier top option. I typically prefer a more fitted top to tuck in or a bodysuit to wear with high-waisted paper bag pants, but this sleeveless blouse tucks in nicely.
