Woo hoo! The long-awaited Express try-on haul is here! You guys have continued to vote month after month for this retailer and it finally won in my most recent poll! Today I’m sharing some soft and cozy loungewear items as well as a little glitz and glam for the holidays. Express is the place to grab both! Are you dressing up or staying casual?
I am probably going to be wearing a mix of both! I still like dolling up even though we won’t be going anywhere. It’s fun to pull out some dressy pieces, put on some makeup and jewelry and feel put together some days. The holidays are a great excuse to do it!
Express was the number one voted retailer when I last polled you guys on IG stories, but since H&M was a close second and I have one in my local mall, I went ahead and shared that try-on first. But here we are with a full Express Haul today!
And my young teenage Express loving heart has loved rediscovering their style over the last couple of years! There are so many super cute pieces in today’s haul and my only complaint is I can’t decide which ones to wear on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

And to sweeten the deal a little more, everything is 50% off sitewide! Which is pretty great considering that was their Black Friday / Cyber Monday deal! I’ll chat about the pieces and include the fit and sizing info for each item, so I hope that’s helpful.
Let’s start with the cozy, casual pieces and then we’ll work our way to the dressier things!! I’ll most likely be in several of the loungy items on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!
These joggers were so surprisingly soft!! The exterior has subtle rhinestone embellishments throughout and the interior is a super soft fleece!! These would be great for lounging or wearing out and about. A tee with a cardigan or denim jacket and a pair of sneakers would be darling.
There is a matching rhinestone sweatshirt that you can get to go with it, but I decided to break up the set. I have SO many tops that can be worn with these fun and festive pants 😉
The embellished tee is a fun way to spice up a basic. You can dress down with joggers or pop on a jacket and a pair of jeans. See it down below with the cutest puff shoulder jacket 😉

This top is for when you want to look fancy, but deep down inside you just want to be wearing your comfies! It is SO soft on the inside [just like the joggers] and the metallic and sleeve detail is gorg.
Who can resist a party sweatshirt?! And a gold one? Forget it!

This set is exactly what you’d hope and expect! Soft, cozy and comfortable. I love the mockneck on the top and the rib detail on the sleeves, hem, neck and pants! The color is unique which I love. Its called “Iron” and its sort of between a gray and a brown.
They come separately and you could split them up, too.
The pants are high-waisted, with a drawstring waist and functional pockets.
I would 100% wear this set out and about as an outfit with sneakers and a jacket or cardigan. But they are absolutely going to be a lounge at home all day kind of pieces.

This vegan leather puff sleeve trucker jacket is super flattering and so unique! The puff shoulder details is such a feminine touch to what would normally be an edgy jacket. I am HERE for the mix of the two vibes. It’s a trucker jacket style, so it has matte black buttons versus a zipper.
I am in love with this thing! I threw it over the embellished rhinestone pocket tee for a touch of sparkle and am wearing my favorite new gray skinnies. They are $26 and SO good! I may end up cutting the hem on these, too! I never feel bad doing this with inexpensive jeans. This way, I can make them “my own” and fit exactly how I want them to without feeling like a ruined an expensive pair of jeans.
Plus I think its so flattering to have more ankle showing, especially with heels.

Such a pretty top! The intricate lace detail is incredible! the hem and neck are scalloped and it feels very flirty and feminine. Slightly see through, but would be okay with a nude bra or thin cami underneath. This color is called cloud cream and looks like a soft blush pink to me.
I paired the this look with burgundy block heels. I love the mix of a block heel and pointed toe and I also love the idea wearing burgundy for the holidays as an understated red. You can wear these year-round for a sophisticated nod to classic red! Love the color of the shoes coupled with the color of the blouse 😉

Such a beautiful statement sweater! And the forest green is gorgeous for the holidays without being too loud! This sweater is extremely soft and the sleeves are truly gorgeous! Statement sleeves and puff shoulders aren’t going anywhere and I think the holidays are the perfect time to put them on!
These exaggerated details make an outfit so much FUN!
Ahhh, you guys, I ADORE this one! It is not your typical lace sleeve blouse. Its actually an incredible soft rib knit sweater with lace sleeves. The body is so cozy and the sleeves and neckline are stunning. I love the mix of mesh and lace around the neckline and the wrists are a stretchy knit, so they’re very comfortable.
I hate when lace sleeves are tight with a button and you feel like you don’t have any room to move. This is not that top!
It’s sexy and comfy, so a total win in my book! Pair it with any pair of jeans and some boots or heels and you are ready for date night!!
Ok, who else is here for the sparkles?! I can’t deny my love for glitz and glam and especially love it this time of year! This top is a stunner! It’s a short sleeve crew neck tee with the most beautiful silver sequins. It is full of mirror shine and fun.
Its on the boxier size so I would have sized down to an XS, but with the small, there’s plenty of room for a front tuck. The model online is wearing this top with black joggers and I’m thinking she’s onto something. Perfect NYE look. Just throw on a cardigan and you’re cozy.
TIP: If the sequins are irritating, simply put on a thin, fitted cami underneath.
You might remember the long-sleeved sequin top I have from my H&M try-on [and also wore it in my Christmas Home Tour] That one is a beige/light silver and this one is a bright gunmetal silver for reference!
