Fa la la la la! My first Holiday Gift Guide of the season is here, just in time for the week of Thanksgiving! So many of us officially kick off our holiday shopping this week with all of the Black Friday sales beginning to pop up! In honor of being a lover of all-things-home [and a self-proclaimed home-body!], today is all about Gifts for the Home-Girl — fun ideas for things that will keep her feeling cute, comfortable and cozy while enjoying life around the house!
Come have a look at my finds! I will say, I own several of these items and if I don’t yet, then they are already on this year’s wish list!
HOLIDAY GIFTS FOR THE HOME-GIRL
This board is sturdy, chic and the perfect piece to pull out for hosting! I recently used it to set out meats, cheeses and fresh grapes on as an appetizer on my Thanksgiving table. It’s under $25 and besides… marble + brass = heart eyes.
2 | ECHO
We love our Amazon Echo! Alexa is like the daughter we never had. We play with her, chat with her and occasionally boss her around…like if we are in dire need of something. “Alexa, play Leon Bridges Radio on my Pandora!” or “Alexa, add batteries to my Amazon cart!” This is the 2nd generation Echo and comes in 7 different fabrics and wood veneers and can even by synced up to your Uber app. She really is a game-changer around the house.
I have always been a slipper girl. They are a travel must for me and wear them around the house most of the day and night. Ugg slippers have always been a go-to, but I’m in need of a new pair right now and am thinking these gold beauties might be my new best friend! Cozy, warm AND glam – Check!
These have been on my mind since I first saw them last year. How adorable are they? The come in 2 colors – cream with gold and charcoal with silver and are under $50. Perfect for anyone who wants to curl up on the couch and look cute while doing it!
I have to say these are one of the best gift ideas I’ve discovered so far this year! These unique, upcycled wine bottles have been transformed into luxury wine bottle candles. They are hand-made in Chicago, with three wicks, burn for over 75 hours and come in over 20 different scents! My favorites are Vanilla Crisp and Mimosa and Mandarin. They smell DIVINE! I’ve personally met the owner and creator and together, we want to offer you a discount to purchase these sustainable and unique gifts! Enter code “BLISS15” at checkout for 15% off purchases through Saturday, 11.25. Check out the other unique soy candle options while you’re shopping at The Chicago Candle Factory!
6 | COFFEE MUG
You can never have too many cute coffee mugs, right? I mean, we do drink out of them every single day! And this couldn’t ring more true… Mama DOES need some coffee!
You’ve probably seen this throw in various rooms and posts on the blog. I LOVE IT! It is soft, warm and oh-so-adorable! Barefoot Dreams blankets are luxurious and I can say from experience, can become an addiction! I now want one in every room! They come in a variety of sizes, colors and patterns, but the “In the Wild” print and the “Cozy Chic Throw“. No matter which you choose, you will NOT be disappointed!
8 | WINE OPENER
I don’t know about you, but we’ve tried several electric wine openers only to be left disappointed time and time again. This one, though, I think is a winner! It has over 2,500 reviews on Amazon with a 4.5 star rating. The best part? It’s only $21.99! The cool blue LED light is on while charging and with the transparent base, you can always see if the corkscrew is properly uncorking 😉
9 | IPAD MINI CASE
This cutie case just arrived on my doorstep a couple weeks ago and I’m in love! You really can’t go wrong with Black & white stripe with rose gold, can you? A perfect electronics accessory for anyone on your list.
10 | NOTEBOOK
There is something about putting a pen to paper. I love a list and I love having a notebook full of ALL my lists even more! The marble cover is pretty and so on-trend. A great lil’ stocking stuffer for all ages!
Because this time of the year, there is just nothing better! Cozy nights at home by the fireplace sipping hot cocoa or enjoying a glass of wine are always better with a flickering candle nearby. These are also 3 wick and smell delicious!
12 | PLUSH ROBE
For me, comfy slippers and a cozy robe go hand-in-hand! This robe is silky, plush and beautiful, comes in 3 different colors and is under $80. I think I would want to wrap up in this thing and never take it off!
13 | PASS THE BUBBLY PJ’S
One of my very favorite places to purchase pajamas is Soma. They have ultra soft pj’s that wash up extremely well and you can buy them in sets or separates. The “Pass the Bubbly” set would be super cute for a New Year’s Eve IN! Pass the bubbly and then hit the pillow – no need to wait up for midnight!
14 | DIGITAL CROCK POT
Set it and forget it! These are my kind of meals, especially in the winter. There is something about the aroma coming from the slow-cooker on the counter in the kitchen! Soups, dips and a ton of hearty dishes are made possible by tossing the ingredients into the crock-pot and then voila – dinner is ready! I love this particular crock-pot because it has digital heat and timer settings and the lid-locking feature is awesome for taking your crock-pot creations on the go! I definitely want to upgrade my crock-pot and this one seems to fit the build. Now I’m thinking I need to make my White Chicken Chili ASAP!
15 | STATE PILLOW
Personalized gifts are always a great idea and a simple HOME STATE pillow makes the perfect addition to anyone’s sofa, chair or bed. The design is neutral so you don’t have to worry about matching their color scheme or preferences! Love this one! Not sure if I would personally want an Iowa or an Illinois one…maybe both?!
