Hello and happy Friday! If you are coming over from Southern Hospitality, then welcome! I am so happy to have you here in my little corner of the internet. Since sharing a Blissful Bits of Life Lately post earlier this week, I thought I would pop in today with a projects lately type of post to share what’s been going on around the house! Here are my 4 latest projects and what’s coming next!

For those of you regulars around here, I have to back-up for a minute and just tell you how incredibly honored I am to be featured by Rhoda of Southern Hospitality today. She does a Feature Friday series on her blog [you can see my feature here] and when I received an email from her a couple months back, I was absolutely giddy with excitement.

Rhoda is an Atlanta home blogger and is such an iconic figure in the blog world. She is also one of the Founders of Haven – the first blogging conference I ever attended. And one I’ve continued to go back to each year that I’m able. I’ve met some lifelong friends there and always leave feeling inspired and motivated to keep pouring my heart into the blog!

Now, a quick little update on a few things I’ve been working on and a few things coming your way soon!

My 4 Latest Projects

1 | OUTDOOR LIGHTS

Outdoor lighting ideas - This is our Bliss

We finally – I repeat finally – swapped out our exterior lights! I did an Instagram collaboration with Lamps Plus and they sent me these beautiful sleek and modern wall sconces and a ceiling fixture for our front porch. Aren’t those Edison bulbs dreamy?

Since our embarrassingly old and tarnished exterior lights are gone, I plan to share more of our front porch and the rest of our home’s exterior in a blog post. Just as soon as the weather warms up enough to plant some Spring flowers. The porch looks so bare with empty planters right now!

Who know just how long we’ll be waiting since it was still 35 degrees and snowing a day here this week. Sigh.

Stay tuned for more on the porch and back deck on the blog this Spring and Summer!

2 | ENTRYWAY TABLE

It might not seem like much, but I finally tackled painting our old entryway table as I was preparing for a couple of Spring Home Tours this year.

And here is our fresh Spring Entryway!

I still plan to write a full post with the before pictures, painting process and the rest of the details. It only took a couple hours and completely brightened up our entire entryway!

3 | SIMPLE BEDROOM REFRESH

How to do a Mini Spring Refresh in the Bedroom with just three things - Spring styling in the Bedroom - This is our Bliss

I shared our mini Spring Refresh in the bedroom last month and while I only added 3 things, It feels like a new room!

The tulips have obviously since died, but I replaced the vase with a small faux plant and the space still feels as fresh and new as it did with the flowers. If only we could have fresh tulips on our nightstand on a regular basis! A dream!

4 | BIG BOY ROOM REVEAL

Big Boy Room Reveal - Playful and pattern-happy boy room ideas - This is our Bliss

This room was like 10 projects in one! I decided to makeover what was once a guestroom / office and turn it into a playful and pattern-happy big boy room for our middle.

We added wallpaper, redid the headboard, painted a bookcase, added a wall shelf and coat rack, painted the closet doors, updated the dresser knobs and so much more! All in a month’s time for the New Year, New Room Refresh Challenge back in January.

I’ve completed 4 of these same one month challenges and I still can’t figure out how I manage to do each space the month right after the holidays. I must still be in a Christmas fog each time!

What’s Coming Next?

There are always multiple projects going on around here simultaneously. And while I have a few new ones I’d love to start, there are a couple I want to get off my plate. I know once I give them some dedicated attention and finish up, it will feel like the pianos have been lifted off my back.

Remember when I shared our Laundry Room mood board?

Laundry Room Plans - Mood board and vision for the new laundry room space!

Well, the time has come to wrap this room up!! I painted the Laundry Room cabinets this week and almost shared them above. But I decided to wait and share them in a Laundry Room progress update with you guys sometime this month.

The goal is to have the reveal ready to go in May. I mean, I am in this room every single day of my life. I want it to be nice and pretty or at least less of a hot mess than it is now!

The other space I spend a ton of time in is my “new” office. It still halfway resembles the boys’ playroom that it once was, but after I take everything off the walls and finish emptying the last of the built-in cabinets, it will be all mine!

Would you want to see some of the chic office inspiration I’ve been eyeing?

I’ll share a post soon, but you can follow along with my Office & Craft Room inspiration board on Pinterest. I can’t wait to start bringing some of my ideas to life.

That’s about all for today! Now to get working on these next 2 projects! All between T-ball, baseball, two soccer games and an Easter Egg hunt on Sunday. At the very least, I’m planning to hang the laundry room cabinet doors back up.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
