Fall Home Home Tour Lifestyle

Cozy Fall Patio + Backyard Tour

It’s no secret that the beautiful scenery & a year-round outdoor lifestyle was a big part of our decision to leave Chicagoland and move to Arizona this a summer [see our empty house tour here]. And with Fall finally starting to peek it’s head out from the blazing heat of a Summer, I can’t wait to start enjoying the outdoor extensions of our home. The backyard is where it’s at! Come take a peek at our Cozy Fall Patio & Backyard Tour.

Today I’m joining a group of lovely bloggers as we all share our outdoor spaces spruced for Fall. Thank you to The Happy Housie for hosting another wonderful Seasonal Simplicity blog hop!

Although we have seen temps over 100 in the last couple of weeks, the end is in sight! Let’s take a quick peek at where I’m going to be spending my mornings and evenings here pretty soon 😉

COZY FALL PATIO + BACKYARD TOUR

I was giddy to find this woven side table at homegoods for $59 when others I had been eyeing online were at least double, if not triple, that price. It’s a perfect pop of warm and cozy for Fall, but it will probably stay out here year-round.

The patio started as a plank slab of concrete and with the addition of our old rug, a new set of furniture and a few warm touches of texture, we have a cozy seating area and table for outdoor family dining.

Mums were nowhere to be found here in September, so I settled for these adorable pink flowering plants with these precious little berries!

I’m still really enjoying a neutral outdoor color palette. It makes it so easy to add decor here and there. Pillows, throw blankets tabletop items. These gold citronella candles were Amazon Finds! The candlelight looks so pretty out here at night.
It definitely feels like home out here! While I didn’t put any pumpkins out (faux or real) my candles & throw blankets are enough of a Fall vibe until October when it’s cool enough to even sit & relax.

And our refresh for the fireplace is in the works and I couldn’t be more excited!

We need to determine the set-up for out here and find furniture, but this spot is already calling my name!

We’ll be able to enjoy the pool for awhile longer too. In fact, the boys are off school for 2 weeks for Fall Break right now and they’ve swam everyday!

And boys night in the hot tub is their new favorite activity with Dad 😉

I’ll be back with more on these outdoor spaces over the next 6-12 months. Our outdoor time is just beginning here in the desert!

I love your patio furniture, I have searched your blog for a resource and can’t seem to find one. Could you please tell me where you got it?
