Did you catch my latest Current Crush post this week? Well, if you haven’t taken a peek yet, then you’ve missed all of the BLUSH PINK I’m feeling so inspired by lately. And today’s Spring Home Tour is no exception! I’ve sprinkled Blush Pink all throughout my Living Room and have it styled and photographed to share with you today for the 2018 Spring Tour of Homes hosted by Monica of Monica Wants It. I was aiming for a soft and feminine look [think fresh flowers, cozy blankets and pink pillows] to mix with the bold vibe this room always has [i.e. our area rug, geometric pillows, etc.!]. So, what am I calling this space all spruced up for Spring? My Blush & Bold Spring Living Room Tour!

If you’re coming over from A Home to Grow Old In, then welcome! This is my first official Spring Home Tour of the year and I couldn’t be more excited to be bringing some soft colors and fresh flowers into our home, especially since it snowed yesterday. I’m over the cold and ready for the seasons to change! Bring on the sunshine, fresh air, new blooms and a home that feels clean and organized. Still working on the Spring cleaning around here, but I’ve been purging and decluttering since January and it feels wonderful!!
Ok, now on to our Blush & Bold Living Room. Come on in and have a look around…
The front door leads right into our entryway which recently got a small facelift when I swapped out the entryway table with another console table we had in our kitchen area. I’m thinking a light or dark gray paint job might look nice!
Let’s head on into the actual living room now…
This is the view standing near the front door and off to the left. See all of the soft blush pink touches peeking out!
It’s amazing what a vase of pink tulips and a few new throw pillows can do for the space! I had a couple of the pillows in my
hoarding storage closet, but I couldn’t resist picking up a few new ones during a quick visit to HomeGoods. I swear they keep adding more and more pillow aisles which has proven to be a problem for me over the years. I did just clean out and get rid of quite a few, so now there’s plenty of room for my new floral, polka dot and blush pink ones you saw on the chairs!
And this brass arched lamp is a recent purchase, too! I had my eye on one at Target, but when I saw the red sticker on this one at HomeGoods, it just had to come home with me. It’s hard to pass up a clearance item, plus I couldn’t find a single thing wrong with it!
Now a slight shift to the left and you can see a closer look at how I spruced up the bookcase shelves for Spring. Lots of green and more books!
Now for the last angle of the space…a peek at the view across the room…
Again, fresh blush pink roses and a couple of new pillows and this side of the space was Spring-ready! It really doesn’t take much to change the look each season. I like to pick a color as inspiration and then splash it around the room! Sometimes it’s super neutral [see the Living Room in 2016] or full of RED, like in my Christmas Living Room Tour last year. And we can’t forget about last summer, when it was full of hot, hot PINK!
Can you smell them from where you are?! Ahhh my favorite!
One last look at those pillows and tulips…
And finally the whole space again…
That pretty much wraps it up! Can you blame me for my current crush on blush?!

Are you sprinkling touches of Spring in your home yet?! Now, if we can just get the outdoors to get on the same page!
